Dr. Davis is a native Texan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2004 in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to earn a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2008, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

His internship took place at the Methodist Hospital in Houston. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2012. Dr. Davis is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatology Society, and the Nueces County Medical Society. Dr. Davis takes pride in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer, and is an advocate for sun protection and skin cancer prevention.

Dr. Davis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Founding member of the American Board of Medical Specialties. These 2 organizations represent the highest and best in training and ethics of American Dermatologists.

Dr. Davis is an avid exerciser, loves to travel, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Misty, and their three kids, Noah (born 2010), Lillie (born 2012) and Henry (born 2016).
